Jennifer Face Paint by MELacey

A reTweet helped me notice a Create a Face Paint Dripping Effect tweet sent out by @nnes.

The article was a Photoshop tutorial using a paint dripping effect with an image of Angelina Jolie's face as a starting point.  I reacted more to the fact that the tutorial was based on Angelina than the paint dripping, so I joking tweeted:

Sunny spring-like day! after looking at face paint link u sent out, thought of doing 1 based on Jennifer Aniston's face ;)

Why does the media make a point of turning to Angelina Jolie whenever Jennifer Aniston is mentioned? The cutaway to Angelina sitting in the audience when  Jennifer Aniston was presenting onstage with Jack Black at the 2009 Oscar Awards was awkward, ridiculous and inappropriate.  No matter who is fueling the back stories, where is the professionalism?

So, consider this my Oscar response for Jennifer Aniston whom I think has a far more interesting face than Jolie.  While it took awhile to find a photo of Jenn with her hair pulled back and not a side profile, I did manage to find one that I felt I could work with and the above image is the result.  I played with the ideas presented on the tutorial and added a couple steps of my own—just because that's the kind of thing that I do.  I wonder why they just don't put the two women together on the same stage?
